Lucien Gysens

Before founding Medestime, Lucien Gysens has worked for more than 20 years in a German Multinational where he was dedicated to neonatology and anaesthesia.

With passion this man attended all the major medical congresses, where he built up an solid network of relations and scientific references. Amongst  these contacts we can find professor Sender, one of the most reknown specialist on severe neonatal Icterus. Professor Sender expressed the need for a powerful intensive phototherapy light.

 

Faced with this scientific question and medical need, Lucien Gysens left the company he was working for and founded Medestime. After several years of research and development the first "Bilicrystal" was launched in 1995.
